The Importance of Friendship

In Frankenstein by simply Marry Shelley, Victor Frankenstein is a fresh scientist who also becomes intrigued by scientific research so extremely that he attempts to realise the impossible and create your life. After months of research and proper practice Frankenstein accomplishes his goal and creates something which resembles a person man, however it is not quite right. Frankenstein is terrified of his creation and efforts to reject the monster; this brings about a multitude of problems for not just Frankenstein, yet also all those that are near him. A large number of situations that Frankenstein locates himself in could have been eliminated if he'd have allowed himself to take the help of his friends. Shelly uses revenge, pride and secrecy to illustrate the value of companionship in Frankenstein. The main conflict in this story is the vengeance the beast intends to inflict about Frankenstein pertaining to his failure to befriend and accept him. Frankenstein created the animal and then declined his creation forcing the creature to understand how to endure and function on his own in the world. Because of the creatures horrific physique simply no human will befriend him, this lack of friendship causes him to look into a fit of rage and despise Victor, his maker, intended for abandoning him. The beast scorns most mankind because of Victors refusal to like him, when he and Victor encounter one other the animal says, " How can I push thee? Will certainly no entreaties cause the to turn a favorable eye after thy animal, who implores thy amazing benefits and consideration? Believe myself, Frankenstein: I was benevolent; my personal soul glowed with love and humankind; but am i not not alone, unhappy alone? You, my creator, abhor me personally; what wish can I gather from your fellow-creatures, who owe me nothing? ”. (Shelley103).
