This paper will illustrate several aspects of just how drugs have an effect on our lives. Craving philosophies such as psychology and physiology will be explained in an attempt to describe just how drugs have an effect on our bodies equally physically and mentally. Subsequently, different medication categories types will be protected including: stimulant medications, depressants, narcotics, hallucinogens, and cannabis. All these categories offers different habit potentials and effect amounts including revulsion symptoms. Finally, the maltreatment of prescribed drugs and their effects will be reviewed. Addiction is usually primarily mental although craving can be defined as the physiological changes in the body. Habit continues to be viewed as a social, cultural, genetic and experiential process as well. According to Lande, addictive behavior is viewed as any patterns that gives momentary or short-term pleasure and also provides rest from discomfort however may be long term adverse effects. (Lande, 2012) According to Roy, addiction is usually described as reliance on any medicine and comes from substance abuse. Any kind of drug or alcohol will produce addiction as can other things like the internet, gambling, gadgets, chocolates etc . Though the physical and psychological associated with drugs and alcohol will be detrimental and also result in loss in productivity, withdrawal and physical dependence and lack of focus and such other conditions. The main feature of addiction can be dependence since an individual displays increased psychological and physical dependence on the substance he is addicted to and without the habit forming substance the individual is unable to come back to normal lifestyle. (Roy, 2009) Dependence on anything at all may not be too bad and some volume of interpersonal dependence is expected individuals as interpersonal beings.
